ITS Romania becomes member of the European Multimodal Passenger Mobility Forum

We are pleased to announce that, following the participation in the open competition launched by the European Commission – DG MOVE, ITS Romania was selected as a member of the new European Multimodal Passenger Mobility Forum – MPMF.
This Forum was set up to support the Commission in the preparation of sustainable multimodal mobility policy initiatives for passengers.

The MPMF will also facilitate cooperation and coordination between the Commission and Member States or stakeholders to implement these initiatives and promote sustainable modes of transport.

We are ready to actively contribute to the activities of the MPMF and we will regularly inform the members about the topics under debate. We invite you to contact us for more information or with proposals for topics to be forwarded within MPMF.

alt_newsThe first newsletter of the PriMaaS project has been published

In this newsletter, you can find interesting initiatives, news about what we have been working on within the project’s main subject, as well as relevant upcoming events.

The main vision of PriMaaS is to promote the integration of traditional collective transport modes with personal and innovative ones by creating equitable mobility services truly focused on citizens' needs. Regional and national policy instruments should be adapted to promote a fully integrated intermodal approach between all transport services, namely by using data provided and gathered in real time about both travel demand and travel supply. At the same time, multiscale policy instruments should ensure that the more comfortable and affordable travel options for any individual to get from A to B has also minimum carbon levels.
